Feeling a bit UNTAMED lately? Me too... I found these amazing Peruvian Blue Opal and just fell head over heals in love. Had to have them and went right to the metal work bench. I bezeled the stones and glass in a untamed feather looking setting. Looks a bit wild and untamed to me. Very rustic and flustered in a good way.
I found these treasure cab stones and loved the color scheme of browns, turquoise, greens, ambers sand rust. You rarely find such vivid turquoise colors in Peruvian Blue Opal so I was none the less one happy gal. For some reason they just melt me into a comfortable place together. I added a hand fused turquoise/green glass cab for the clasp to help pop some of my favorite colors out!
The large center focal and 2 side cabs are Peruvian Blue Opal stones, the brown speckled stone is a fossil agate stone which together with the glass cab clasp makes a wonderful and rustic look. The stones are set into reclaimed/recycled sterling silver hand cut links soldered iinto bezeled setting and solder together. a few gold nugget stone rocks and a hand form copper clay daisy decorate the frame of some of the cabs.
I've been working long hours on this piece but the end results really make me smile!
Most of the sterling silver metal used was reclaimed silver I hand melted, rolled and put some sweat and heart into. I also signed the piece on the back of the bracelet.
Bracelet is 7.5 inches and adjustable if needed.
Matches this stunning Wings untamed necklace too!!
